Bermuda Shorts + Floral Blazer

Hey guys! Hope you're having a great week. The weekend is almost here so let's make it a great one.

I purchased these Bermuda shorts about six years ago during Nordstrom's anniversary sale (which is currently going on now). I paired it with neutral and gold tones to compliment the unique design and stitching of the brand. A structured blazer can make any outfit chic and this floral number was no different.

Back To Color

So I decided to take a quick break from my recent black, white, and gray run and add a bit of color to today's post. I definately did not mind because I personally love color and always attempt to incorporate it somehow in my outfits. But recently I've been loving my black and whites. I guess I was feeling a bit cheerful and nothing screams more cheerful and happy than bright colors and florals.

Crisp White + Florals

Hello beautiful people. Hope you all had a great three day/memorial day weekend. I had a great and relaxing time. On saturday, I attended a wine and music festival then headed straight to the movies to watch X-Men. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. I stayed home most of Sunday after church and attended a few cookouts on Monday.

There is something about an all white outfit that I love. I love the crisp and clean feeling it gives. For this outfit, I spiced it up with another favorite of mine, a floral blouse. I kept everything else neutral by completing my look with beige slingbacks and a camel color bag.

Floral Explosion

Hope everyone had a great work week and even a better weekend ahead!
My love for florals has yet to cease even though we're getting closer to fall-like weather here in Maryland. I love the femininity of floral and prints so much, I will be transitioning it into my fall wardrobe. Who's with me?

Floral Direction

Cheers to a great Friday and an even better weekend!

I finally got the chance to wear this floral blouse I've had for over a year from Asos. Almost forgot how comfy and  beautiful it felt on as it looked. I decided to bring out the subtle color yellow out by wearing this yellow and tan clutch also from Asos. Trust me, the color of my nails and toes were not planned.

Thank you reading!

50's Vibe

I specifically fell in love with the print on this skirt when I first laid eyes on it. It gave me such a 1950's vibe. I wasn't sure how I wanted to style it or if I was even going to like it. I thought about returning it several times. I asked my boyfriend for his opinion, thinking he would suggest returning it. To my surprise he actually loved the skirt and convinced me to keep it.

I paired it with a simple crisp button down to tone the busy pattern down. I also added my comfy blue pumps I scored on sale at Aldo last year and accessorized with this gorgeous statement necklace from J Crew I have been dying to wear since I purchased it.

Happy Monday!

If you're like me and had to go back to work on the Friday, you spent most of the past weekend attending cookouts and hanging out in the sun. I wasn't able to enjoy my forth of July like I wanted to because I had to be back in the office on Friday. Therefore, I took full advantage of my holiday weekend indulging in hamburgers, barbecue chicken, steak, jello-shots, kabobs, lots of drinks, and an additional 10 pounds.

Thank you again for taking the time out to visit me.
