Pastel Love

Hey there beauties,
Hope you all had a great weekend. I attended my little brother's graduation on Friday. I didn't cry like I thought I would, so I was very proud of myself. On Saturday, I drove him to Ocean City where he will be hanging out with his friends for the week. I relaxed for the rest of the day.

My love for full skirts continues and will most likely continue through the spring and summer months. What's not to love about full skirts and pastels? For this outfit, I combined the two and paired it with neutral tones for a nice fresh look.

Motif

Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I spent my Saturday afternoon running errands and went to dinner at night. My friend and I planned on also seeing a movie, but spent too much time chatting it up at dinner that we missed the movie. Nevertheless, the dinner and conversation was great so I wasn't too upset.

As much as I love color, you can never go wrong with all black. For this outfit, I wanted to play with the color of the motif on my sweater. I paired the tiger sweater along with a leather skirt and completed the look with nude pumps and a leopard clutch. There is something about all black and nude that I love!

Blue Plaid

Hello! Hope you had a great thanksgiving weekend as well as took advantage of the black Friday and cyber Monday sales. I had an early thanksgiving dinner with my family on thursday and headed to a women's retreat from thursday night to saturday. My church usually have this retreat on thanksgiving weekend because it the only weekend where most people have an extended weekend. Although it was an inconvenience, I made the effort to attend and did not regret my decision.

I have loved plaid for years and wore it faithfully during my undergraduate years. Although it is currently trending this season, I think it is a timeless piece that I will be wearing for many more years to come. For this outfit, I wanted to play with the different shades of blue in the shirt. I paired it with a sexy yet chic pencil skirt with a side slit.

Back To Business

::Outfit::
Top: RiverIsland (LOVE THIS)
Skirt: RiverIsland (SIMILAR)
Shoes: Bebe (HERE)
Bracelets: Forever 21
Bag: Michael Kors (SIMILAR)

This is my first full week back at work from my mini getaway in Miami last week. Although my body is officially back in the office, my mind is still on vacation. I can barely get any work done. I think that has to be one of the most difficult things about going back to work from a getaway. Nevertheless, everyday cannot be a vacation and real life must resume.

Thank you for stopping by.

Purse: Gucci
Ring: Aldo
Watch: Michael Kors

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful and eventful weekend. I attended a friend's wedding, which I had an absolute blast! I wore this outfit to the movies about two weeks ago before the temperate hiked up to 200 trillion degrees. When going to the movies, I try to wear clothes that will keep me warm, mainly because I always shiver in the theaters. I will hate to turn into a popsicle while watching a movie. I also chose to wear something comfy and this J Crew silk blouse and River Island pants did the job.

Thank you for visiting me!

Mixing Prints: Stripes + Gingham

Dress: Riverisland (HERE)
Shoes: Guess (BLACK PAIR HERE
Clutch: Target (HERE)
Earrings: Bebe (SIMILAR)

I am officially obsessed with prints and even more intrigued with mixing various unconventional prints. Found this striped dress at Riverisland and paired it with my absolute favorite guess carrie pumps. I had been looking for a pair of gingham printed pumps for so long and was uber excited when I came across this pair. I have four different colors and prints in these pumps. They are super comfortable and classic and the best part of it all is that I get so much wear out of them. Are you up to mixing prints like me?

Corporate Style Fun: Leopard & Leather Peplum

Photos by SidJacks Photography

Blouse: Bebe
Skirt: Riverisland
Clutch: Asos
Shoes: Christian Louboutin (HERE)
Watch: Michael Kors (HERE)
Necklace & Bracelets: Forever 21

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. My weekend was unfortunately too short. I ended up running errands for the most part. Errands are usually not fun, however, this gloomy, rainy, and snowy weather (Yes, all in one) made it even worse.

I am a lover of anything leopard or animal print, so of course I was drawn to this leopard peplum skirt when I first laid my eyes on it. I've had it in my closet for several months and decided to finally pull it out. I love the femininity and twist the peplum adds to it. I didn't want to do the normal red or purple with my leopard this time around. I instead added an unusual twist with this bright orange and black clutch from Asos.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a lovely work week.

Xoxo
