Chambray & Leopard

Hi guys! Hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was great; I attended a birthday dinner for one of my girl friends on Friday, hookah and sushi lounge with another on Saturday night and lunch on Sunday with the boyfriend. So overall, I spread my love around all weekend!

I think it’s amazing how you can style denim of denim different ways. For this outfit, I styled two close by different shades of denim. I threw on a faux fur collar to add a bit more chic-ness to an ordinary denim on denim look and finished with new favorite leopard pumps.

For Work: Pencil Skirt & Intarsia Sweater

Happy Friday loves!

Hope you had a great week! I’m looking forward to attending a birthday celebration for one of my favorite girl friends. We rarely get to see each other because we live so far away, so the few times we get to see each other, is always a blast.

I haven’t done a work outfit in a while, so today I’m bringing you one. I plan on incorporating a lot of work styles in my posts this year, as well as blogging a bit more than I did last year. A pencil skirt is an item every working needs in her closet. Not only is it flattering on all body types, but it’s very versatile and can be worn to work then straight to happy hour with friends or dinner with the guy.

I do recommend first stocking up on darker colors then playing with brighter color schemes. I stand by J Crew No2 pencil skirts; their pencil skirt collection for work has been my favorite for years. I own several colors in this skirt. In this post I’m wearing the pink color, which is currently sold out. But love this option. I paired it with a crisp button down, layered it with a sweater for warmth and a statement necklace to compliment the entire look. I think the sweater and necklace adds a bit of fun to the outfit. Don't you think?

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Hope you're having a great week and staying warm. We are supposed to have a mixture of snow/rain today and sometime next week, definitely not looking forward to it. My gray streak continues! I went with a more casual look with this coat; which I last paired here. Similar to that post, I went with a monochrome gray look.

In my humble opinion, sleeveless coats are staples and timeless pieces that can transform any outfit whether you're dressed up or down. I am currently craving, these: here, here and here.

Gray Hues

In this post, I'm playing with several shades of grays. I actually purchased these pants one day on trip to Target for toilet paper. I love the fit and can be easily dressed up and down. It is currently on clearance here. I paired it with a gunmetal shade of gray shirt and layered it with cozy French lady sweater; added silver shades and necklace for the finish.

Bold Check

Hello lovely people. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty relaxing. I rested most of the day and grabbed some sushi with a friend later in the day.

This season I've been loving shades of gray. So when I found this skirt while browsing for black friday deals, I quickly purchased it. I love the mixture of gray and the bold check print. Not to mention it's super warm for these cold winter days we've been experiencing. I paired it with a gray sweater (which is actually a dress I worn here) and completed the look with a bold statement necklace and black pumps.

Golden

Hello lovely people! How has your week been?. Winter has "officially" arrived here in Maryland, as it snowed on Tuesday and has been disrespectfully cold ever since. Unlike the children who love snow days, I'm definitely not happy about this weather. These are the times I wish I was at home wrapped up in a blanket with a cup tea.

For this outfit, I wanted to style my entire look around gold and this sequin pants was perfect. I went with a neutral color palette by pairing the pants with a cream peplum top and nude pumps. For more shine, I accessorized with few gold accessories without being over bearing.
