Fall Weddings

Dress: Asos
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Pigalle
Clutch: Asos
Earrings: Bebe
Cuff: Aldo
Bow Bracelet: Juicy Couture
Watch: Movado

I was super excited to attend a friend's wedding this past weekend. I pulled out this pencil dress I purchased from Asos about a year ago and slipped on Pigalles'. I love weddings and I normally enjoy myself each time I attend one. However, for this particular one not so much. Great company but very horrible food and music. For this reason, I unfortunately did not stay for long. After listening to a couple of tracks from one hit wonders from the 1990s and tasting the food, I got up and left. I couldn't bare to sit there a minute longer. I did however, make sure I paid my respect to the bride and groom before departing.

Trend-Ing In Denim

Shirt: J Crew
Jeans: H&M
Shoes: Michael Shannon
Leopard Scarf: Vintage
Bracelet: J Crew
Watch: Michael Kors
Clutch: Asos

I wore this denim outfit this weekend to run errands and grab a bite to eat later in the day. I am not one to fall for trends; however, I love denim. Therefore, I didn't mind pairing this denim on denim. I am a lover for ALL things leopard and can never get enough of it. So, I decided to add the scarf for a little jazz and this bright orange clutch for a pop of color.

How do you feel about the denim on denim trend?

Tuxedo Blazer

Blazer: Aryn K
Top: Vintage
Pants: Bebe
Purse: Gucci
Shoes: Bebe
Watch: Movado
Jewelry: Aldo

Hello Lovelies,

Friday is finally here! I don’t know about you, but this workweek has been extremely long. I am super excited that it’s Friday and the weekend is finally here. I plan on starting my weekend early today by playing hooky and leaving work early. I have a lot of errands to run this weekend plus a wedding to attend. Leaving work early will allow me to get a few of my task completed so I can enjoy a little of my weekend.

I wore this outfit to grab a bite to eat with my boyfriend the other night. Because the tuxedo blazer is a statement piece, I decided to pair it with an all black attire and allow the blazer to speak for itself. I decided to jazz up my accessories a bit by wearing this gorgeous cross chain ear cuff I purchased from Aldo while on vacation in Florida.

Have a blessed and wonderful weekend.

Summer in Fall

Blouse: J Crew (HERE)
Skirt: J Crew No2 pencil skirt (HERE)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin 'Pigalle' (HERE)
Watch: Movado
Clutch: Asos

Hey Lovelies,
Happy hump day! Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday. The last couple of days here in Maryland have been absolutely gorgeous. The weather has been in the upper 60s and 70s. Therefore, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather.

I wore this silk Blythe blouse and paired it with the No2 pencil skirt from J Crew to work. Now don’t get me wrong, I wear bright colors from January though December simply because I love brights! However, with the weather being so beautiful, I didn’t feel as guilty.

Do you ladies wear bright colors all year or am I guilty of a big fashion don’t?

Purple + Trench

Shirt: H&M
Skirt: Asos
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
Trench: Forever 21
Purse: Michael Kors
Watch: Michael Kors
Necklace: Jewelry boutique in Miami

Hope everyone’s week is going well thus far. I am looking forward to the weekend but not the things I need to have done. My first big agenda this weekend is looking for a new place. Home searching has become such a hassle because I can’t find a big enough closet to accommodate all of my items. But I also can't stop purchasing. I have looked at places I love, but I am quickly turned off because of the lack of closet space. Please wish me luck.

Now to the outfit, let me tell you, I am in so in love with this trench vest. I love that it is versatile and can be dressed up or casually. Wearing the trench happened completely by accident. I was in a rush out of the house and realized I had forgotten my jacket. I ran back inside and unbeknownst to me I grabbed this trench vest instead. But I think it ended up looking pretty chic. Most of all it was a total steal at Forever 21.

What do you have planned for the weekend?

Not a Baby Shower Attire

Blouse: Vintage
Jeans: Bebe
Shoes: Bebe 'Teygan' pumps
Purse: Gucci
Watch: Michael Kors

I wore this outfit to a baby shower about a week ago. Now, I know what you’re thinking this is not a baby shower appropriate outfit. However, I went shopping with a couple of friends and ran some errands thinking I was going to have time to go home and change in time for my friends shower. Unfortunately, I had way too much fun at the mall and it didn’t happen. After completing my weekend shopping agenda, I headed to the shower in this semi-risqué top.

Have you ladies ever been in a situation where you had to wear an outfit you didn’t feel comfortable in or wasn’t appropriate for an event?

Polka Dots and Bows

Blouse: Target
Skirt: Bebe
Shoes: Sam Edelman 'Marina' Sandals
Watch: Marc Jacobs
Bangles: Nordstroms
Purse: Michael Kors Hamilton

I was in target months ago shopping for household items and decided to “browse” the aisles after I finished my purchases. I came across this lovely polka dot peplum top and quickly grabbed it and held on tight to it because there was only one left. I am so crazy I thought there might have been another lunatic like me waiting to grab it. It was actually smaller than my normal size, however, I was determined to squeeze the twins in them. When I went home and tried it on, it fit perfectly, which made me one of the happiest girls in the world. I am such a girlie girl that these little things make me happy (Don’t judge me)!

I love finding unexpected items at places I would not have thought. Have you ever found gorgeous unexpected items at Target or any other stores?

Welcome to my blog PrissySavvy!

My name is Priscilla; most people call me Prissy, hence the name PrissySavvy. I am a young professional and I absolutely love any and everything fashion.  I love dressing up and take pride in doing so. I believe that the way you dress gives others a foretaste of who you are and tells a lot about your personality. Starting my own personal fashion blog is a hobby that I wanted to embark on for quiet a while. I recently completed my master’s degree and have decided to put a stop to the procrastination and BOOM here I am!

I am super excited to take on this journey and more excited to meet all you Savvy fashionistas’ out there and to share ways we can continue to stay Savvy in this ever-evolving fashion world.

Lots of love,
